We are delighted to be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March 2022.
We invite students to dress up as a character from their favourite book. Staff will also be joining in!
World Book Day celebrates the joy and value of books and reading, especially for students. To encourage and help them on their reading journey, every student will receive a £1 book token which can be exchanged for one free World Book Day 2022 book or £1 off a book costing £2.99 or more. We are also holding a ‘Great Literature Bake-Off’ competition, where students can bake their favourite story into a tasty treat which represents this. We have had some amazing entries for this in the past and cannot wait to see what this year’s entries look (and taste) like!
Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes and the best baking entries.
